When growing your bonsai outdoors, just as trees do, bonsai shed their leaves in the fall and grow new ones in the Spring.

A Juniper bonsai is your best bet for slow growing and it is a great beginner bonsai! Choosing a new pot for your bonsai, depends upon the size of your tree. The larger the bonsai is, the larger the pot will need to be, see this isn't so hard, is it!
